(You should see me in English 245, where we are currently studying poetry. "This poem is about Valjean! This essay is about Marius being a tremendous dork!") Clyde's birthday is June fifth, which is the day the 1832 revolution began.

(Geeky real life birthday coincidence: My little brother was born on March twenty-fifth, which is the day Sauron fell. When he is old enough, I will explain this to him, and he will probably look at me funny.)

So. I require a bit of a distraction from the fact that Doctor Who airs on Saturday and it's only WEDNESDAY. And I figure, while I'm all ridiculous-crossover-y lately, it might be a good time for a sort of informal challenge request.

Below the cut, you will find a list of fandoms. Ask for crossovers. I will do my best to provide at least a scenario, if not a snippet into the bargain. These are fandoms I'm comfortable with dabbling in at the moment, so I'd appreciate it if you stuck to the list, though of course if I've forgotten something you know I can do, ask for it. And if there's something you really want to see but you're not sure, ask me about it. I might be able to do it anyway. (But no baseball RPS, ALEX. I'd prefer fictional crossovers.) americanleaguer and caruso both did "'If I write it down and stare at it, maybe I will be forced to actually finish these fics" posts while I was sleeping, so i figured I'd join the party. I've been so unproductive ficwise the last couple of weeks.

( Cut because I decided to throw in snippets for fun. In which I write a lot of damn crossovers, and Torchwood and Supernatural feature heavily. And are NOT crossed over. )

Way too many fics going on there. It beats the zero I had before, though, and I still heart SPN for being the fandom that jumpstarted my fic muse after like two years of silence. And Torchwood for keeping it going. Also, what's up with me being the freakin' crossover queen over here?

Also, I'm probably gonna pull together all my non-recent-past 'verse drabbles to post to communities at some point today, so if you see a "new" fic post from me, don't get excited, because there's nothing new in it. Well, unless you missed my drabble spamming phase.

I felt like iconning, so I sorted through the exceedingly random collection of images I have and made a few icons. Have them! Nothing special here, just cropping and bordering and the occasional smidgen of text, so no need to credit. And thanks to papel_luna for keeping me from just chucking my computer right out the window when PhotoShop wasn't playing nice.

Torchwood drabble. Not really thrilled with this one, but kinda sick of looking at it.

Follows from yesterday's drabble; crossover with The Sarah Jane Adventures, inasmuch as a fic involving two shows that exist in the same universe can be considered a crossover. Spoilers for events in SJA from "Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane? Part II" and on.

I'm not sure what I enjoyed more about the episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures I just finished watching.

* The title, "Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane?" So silly, and yet so, so very right.

Now if only the new Torchwood episode download WOULD FREAKING SHOW UP ALREADY, my geeky joy would be complete.
